He did his bachelors and PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge MA. His advisor was Henry W. Kendall, who shared the Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of a basic building block of matter called a quark.
Dr. Lath spoke about electricity and magnetism and how they lead to light and dida lot of demos about electricity, magnetism, induction, motors etc. The duration of the workshop was about 2 hours and not just kids but their parents also enjoyed a lot. Everyone got a chance to try all the demos and understand the concepts of physics in a FUN way!
